First thing is the quality and serving size of the fish and chips for 1 was fantastic for how cheap it was. I walked away really satisfied, little alone the freshness and great tasting chips were 10/10. Pineapple fritter slapped and was served properly. Staff were friendly and the shop seemed clean. 100% would return.

Fabulous fish and chips. Crunchy chips, perfectly cooked fish, a little light on for serving size but the taste is amazing. Negatives: The older Indian gentleman who served us was impatient and gruff. When ordering a single fish and chips deal, if you upgrade the fish type rather than charge the difference between the 2 types of fish they price each item separately, thus a large increase.

Very delicious. We bought dinner here after just arriving in Port. I had a prawn roll, very generous serving of large prawns. Partner had fish and chips and we shared potato scallops. Hubby said fish was great. Chips and scallops were the best I’ve had in a long time. So crisp and not greasy at all. Great work, well worth the money as was very reasonably priced.

Always fantastic fish and chips and calamari. They do get really busy but that's because they serve great food. Nothing against the place- but it's a pity that Port Macquarie doesn't have more undercover seating near that park area near the water. Most seating is out in the sun. Not everyone can sit in the sun!!

I made a phone order for 6 cocktail fish, 3 scallops and chips. The fish was like jelly on the inside, and also tiny portion. Chips were OK, nothing special. And the scallops were SO thick, they were still not cooked and rock hard on the inside. I paid THIRTY SIX DOLLARS for the privilege!! $36 for food that wasn't worth $20 honestly. The man at front was super nice, customer service was good. But the food was really sub-par especially for the price.

They were extremely busy when we ordered but it was still very quick and cooked perfectly, very good quality control, not a single thing was missed. Friendly service. Being so close to the park on the water, makes for a nice grassy spot to sit, relax and eat.

This place was better than expected for a fish and chip shop. The food was 5 star. Great location. Food was a bit slow on the first day we had it but went back a few days later, and the next time was fairly quick. I would recommend off the hook fish and Chips.
